The reactive power regulator RGT-12E (TENSE) is a fully automatic device for optimal switching of compensation steps.
The digital processing of the values measured by the regulator ensures high accuracy in the evaluation of the effective voltage, current, and power factor.
The installation of the unit is fully automatic - the regulator determines the size of the individual connected compensation steps by itself. These parameters can also be entered directly manually.
The controller turns on and off the compensation steps, so the reactive power is regulated with a minimum of switching. At the same time, the controller takes into account the even load of the individual steps and preferentially connects the steps that have been de-energized for the longest time, and where the residual charge is minimal. During the regulation process, the compensation steps are continuously monitored in parallel - faults and changes in values are recorded, temporarily removed steps are tested periodically, and if necessary, they are reintroduced into the regulation process.
